Hello Ladies, I thought it was going to be torture, but I ws wrong, well at least partially :)
Now keep in mind that I hate trying things on...
My first stop was Bay Shore Bridal. I loved them! Mary Ellen was GREAT!!! SHe was soooo helpful. My mom and I loved the very first dress that I tried on. We also loved the last one, but found out that it is discontinued...JUST MY LUCK.
Then, we had to be at Adrienne's of Islip by 130. I was actually excited about going there. I have heard so many nice things. But it wasn't as good as I thought.
When we got there, there was no one in the front, we waited about 10 minutes, then my mom finally called upstairs, they said one minute. well we waited another 15 minutes. When the girl finally came, she was helping 3 other girls at the sametime, I felt so badly for her. Needless to say, I only tried on 3 dresses and didn't like them at all. I think it was because I was mad to begin with. I was very suprised about Adrienne's. Has anyone else experienced this? Or were they just having a bad day. Thanks for listening Andrea

I hate trying things on too- but I also found that I tried more on in the places where the people didn't aggravate me as much :)
I found my dress at Paradise Bridal in Patchogue- they have a big selection!
Good luck!!

She asked me very rudely how much i wanted to spend, i told her this was my first time and i wasnt sure yet well I guess she didnt like that and said well ill just tell you our dresses run 1000 to 5000, ok? I just said yeah made the appt. and then called burtons they were so nice, im not even going to bridal reflections anymore. I'm already upset with them, i wouldnt be able to enjoyu myself.

Re: My Dress shopping experience
Sorry to hear you were disappointed with Adriennes. I loved it there and got great service. I had good service at all the stores I went to - Saks, RK Bridal and Paula Varsalona's salon. I ended up buying my dress at Adriennes. It was the second one I tried on!
