It's funny, but it's not.. It smells like a new dress, you know how new clothing smells, but it's strong, I thought maybe sitting around it might lose the scent but it hasn't.. What do I do?? Should I get it cleaned?? Did anyonelse have this problem?? THANKS IN ADVANCE

Try putting a fabric softener sheet or a tissue sprayed with your perfume in the bottom of your dress bag. Make sure that it does not touch the dress because it may leave a stain.

My dress stunk too like that smell..but as soon as I aired it out near an open window it was FINE!!!! Be careful spraying perfume..Im told some perfumes can stain a dress
Is it a bad smell or just new clothes? This is a funny problem, sort of.

ummmmmm.... your wedding is not till march 05 why do you have your dress in your posession already... dont you have to preserve it? so it doesn't turn yellow?
i think it will lose the smell over a long period of time

No, it's fine, i've had it already for 8 months and it's fine, i just have to keep it for 6 more months, then off to alterations.. I keep it in a dark dry closet, in a white garmet bag, and it's been fine, I check on it every other day..lol.. Thanks for the advice ladies
