My dress.. What should I do? (update: everything is fine. whew!)
UPDATE:
Ok, so... wow... I feel like an idiot. I just went to the salon and brought a print out of the pics. The woman immediately helped me. I tried on my dress. This time I had the hooks and zipper done (when I tried it on in January, I had just had the zipper done). What a huge difference. The dress wasn't sitting properly last time. And the lady pulled back the extra fabric on top closer to my chest (I haven't had any alterations done yet), the V was more curved like it should be. Well, at least my mind is at ease now.

Your right... one side is slightly higher than the other. I think that you should talk to the bridal shop and explain the situation. I am sure that they will rectify this. It may have just been a defect. Try not to stress, you have time!

I do see the diff with the sides and agree you can have them alter it. The neckline issues doesn't jump out at me as much. if you are unhappy though bring it to their attention. Your dress, your day, it should look like you want

I can see that it's not even. You should not only take it back for them to fix it but show them that picture... just so you have some proof. I find that alterations people usually try to tell you that something should look a certain way when it shouldn't For example.. I had this dress with what i can only describe as straps going up and down the back of it. One strap was like an inch longer than the rest and so it stuck out. I asked the alterations people to fix that and she insisted that it HAD to be that way so I can move properly. But it was just ONE of the straps and it looked strange... it really stuck out. So I insisted on her fixing it anyway for me... even if it made me uncomfortable because I needed it for the room. So she finally caved in and fixed it for me... it was not on perfect but turns out I totally didn't need it to move around! It was perfectly comfortable. She just didn't want to own up to her mistake I suppose. So don't be afraid to ask or beg or plead or seriosuly instruct them to do any sort of fixing for you. But be able to explain in detail what you want done! Good Luck!
