Sorry if I was too blunt. I was just trying to be honest. I think you are a really really pretty girl and the dress looks really great on you its just IMO the wrong look for your eparty.
you would look gorgeous in anything and if you really love this dress then thats great. I was just being honest

I think most people would expect you to be a little more covered up at your own eparty. When a woman is at the stage of her life where she is about to get married even if she is 22 or 42 even if she can pull off an outfit like that I just dont think its appropriate. Its more of a single girl outfit or going out with your friends outfit. Not to be around all your and his relatives.
I had a friend who wore something kind of like that to her Rehersal dinner and everyone told her to her face how pretty she looked and how great she looked, how cute her dress was etc. and they talked so much CRAP behind her back!!! They called her mean names and even now bring up the story of how she looked and what everyone was saying....

Jessica Mclintock, bloomingdales, macys all have really really gorgeous dresses out right now. That are still really nice and sexy just more coverd up and a little more appropriate
