So we booked it..

Now I need a Theme.. Can I still stick with the hearts and love or should I do more of a New Orleans theme? What about a theme with all black and white photos of the little kids..

how about a theme of just you and ronni through the years. you growing up, baby pics, school pics, birthdays, pics of ronnie growing up, school pics, birthdays then pics of you and him.

My parents are going to start in 2 weeks with the e-party and the planning. Dad returns on Saturday from Fl, and next saturday is my bridal party GTG at my mom's, so its going to be a busy day. So the following weeked will be the planning. fun fun fun.

Invites...hmmm....Brians friend his invites were precious moments and the lines were 'the most precious moment of laura's life was when Phil asked her to be his wife'. And the boy was kneeling on one knee with a ring in his hand. it was so cute.

or how about an album that gets passed around to everyone and they can write personal notes or something and you can keep this on your coffee table or on a book shelf??

I am doing something similar to what Melissa said but I am adding into the book polaroid pics of guests as they come in. One of our BP members will take the pics while the other puts them in the book. Once that is done, we will have the book passed around for people to sign and write a few words for us.

We are also having mylar balloons added to our balloon centerpieces w/ our pics on them. Each centerpiece will have two. Instead of doing regular balloon weights, I am filling tulle with hershey kisses.

We are going to have a mini-program letting people know who the BP is, the Godparents, and when the wedding will be with the church and reception info.

I will be giving each of the girls of the BP a bout or corsage and the guys a bout to wear.

I don't think this applied to your original question but rather ideas for things you can do.

I like that idea with the polaroid pics. That is really great because photo's last a lifetime.

You can really go crazy with the mardi gras theme. If you go to Party Giant on liberty ave and i think its 104 street, but its definatly on liberty ave they will have everything you need for any type of theme.

if you go to lady jane crafts on crossbay (its near pitkin ave) they may have the beads so you can give everyone a beaded necklace when they walk in.

my cousin's 21st birthday was a hawaiin theme so you could do grass skirts to people, flowers in the girls hear, lays, etc...

Oriental Trading

Oriental trading has lots of Mardi Gras themed items. Beads, masks, etc. Not sure how you will incorporate but maybe it can spark ideas.

Where did you decide to go, Roma View? I can't think of anything on the water that has room for a DJ in HB.
