My e-party review
Amazing. I am just blown away by everything.
I got my coursages from Viki's floral on Fresh Pond road and they were great. They stayed so lovely through out the entire evening. FMIL was speachless about her coursage
Villa Russo's A++++++++++++++++++ all the way. From what I heard the food was amazing. I had a bite of some stuff and it was so good. Everyone else around us kept complimenting us of how great the food was.
My aunt got my favors and they were gorgous. They were little candles and they were a hit.
Where do I even begin about the night. It was truely remarkable. I will be honest I had one moment where I was upset because everyone was pulling me into 100 different directions, everyone wanted to take pictures, everyone wanted to have a drink, everyone wanted to be with us, and I just wanted a moment to myself. I wanted to do certain things at certain times but everyone else had plans for me. I did get upset, but my wonderful MOH and my dear friend Jenn were at my side telling me it will be alright. I dont think I could have gotten through it without them. I am truely grateful for the both of them.![]()
I also asked my cousin, his cousin, his aunt and my aunt to do special readings and prayers for us at our ceremony and both were extremely honored. All night all my cousin kept saying was 'I am reading at Melissa and Brians wedding. I am a reader, dont talk to me I am a reader' She was incredably honored.
I think at the end of the party, is when it hit FI. For the past few months of this planning he was like yea yea, but tonight I think it really hit him. I think it made it all feel real to him. He broke down crying. He said to me I never imagined such a wonderful day and to have everyone be so happy for us.
I did feel bad for FI because almost 3 months ago he lost a very special person in his life. His groomsmen Jay's mom. (Jay unfortunatly could not be in attendance but a lot of Jay's family was there, like his sisters, brothers and aunt) Jay's mom was like a second mother to him. To not have her with us really upset FI. To have all of Jay's family around us and not his mom there celebrating took a toll on his heart. At the end of the night he was really upset. I wish I could have done something to just make that pain go away, but I know I couldnt.
But overall we had a fantastic time. The food was great, the music was awesome. My uncle sang for us, my cousin sang for us, the DJ sang for us and another friend sang for us. it really made the whole day extremely special. Those little touches just made it seem so special to both of us.
To have everyone around us, smiling, laughing, toasting us I was so overwhelmed. FI's GM Phil gave an extremely lovely toast for us. My eyes swelled up with tears.
I am glad it was here, but oh how fast it went. The night just flew by.
I took lots of pics, and as soon as I get the film developed which will probably be tomorrow I will definatly post them
