My expecting friend had a car accident!!
My friend is 36 weeks. And she has had the worst pregnancy. She is still throwing up. On a good day she does not throw up more than 6 times, on a bad day it's around 25 times and a trip to the hosptial. She's gotten infections from IV to prevent dehydtration and had managed to work full time thru all this.
Well I talked to her monday and she said all was well. The baby had not gained wieght during the last month so they were going to think about induction in the next week or two.
She said she'd call me after her OB appt and let me know.
Well she called and I was not home and when I called back she was already asleep. So I tried her today as she was supposed to be home all day. She never picked up.
I tried her at 8:00 and her husband answered. He informed me that she had been in a car accident and was in the hospital being moniterd as she was having contractions. But her and the baby are ok.
He said she would be realeased in the moring if they get the contractions to stop, otherwise it's baby time!!
I'm just so upset for her. This whole reproduction thing hads been one mountain after another. Cancer, infertility and all that goes with it.
I'm glad that she and the baby are okay, but wish that this would have been a better experince for her.
I'm so emotional for her and my DH thinks I'm being ridicuolus.![]()
