My experience at Kleinfeld

Yesterday my sisters, mom, niece and I went to Kleinfeld. My sisters both got their dresses there and had great experiences. This was 10 years ago, before a TV show...so I was worried that the experience would be different.

When we walked in there were a lot of girls waiting for 1:00 appointments, but while trying on dresses you would never know you were in a salon with 6 or so other brides. Our consultant was Katie who was outstanding. She was so nice, stayed within my budget, and not the least bit pushy. I mentioned I was worried about having someone who was pushy and she said that there are some pushy consultants who bring dresses out of someones budget...but that's why it's best to ask for a specific consultant. Every other place I went (besides Lilettes) made it seem like my budget wasn't high enough, and that's why they couldn't show me more dresses. But, Katie never said 1 negative thing about my budget. Side note: my budget is FAR from cheap. I narrowed it down to two dresses and just couldn't decide. I was there for 3 hours and nobody rushed me!! I'm going back on Sunday with my dad and making him choose.

The best part, one is double the price of the other...and they weren't pushing for the more expensive dress like you think they would.

So...GREAT experience at Kleinfeld and I 10000% recommend Katie as a consultant.

That really does sound like a great experience! It's cute that you're going back with your dad, I plan to do the same thing if I am confused with my final dress choices.

That's awesome that you had a good unrushed experience and could take in how all the dresses looked. Having 2 dresses you liked enough to consider is a good decision to have to make!

Thanks ladies! One is so different from the other, I wish I could've taken pictures. I would have done a poll and have that make the decision..lol

Yay, I'm so glad you had such a great experience. I wanted to schedule an appointment there but online they seem to stress that their dresses start at $2,500, which is way over my budget.

That's great you had a good experience there! I also brought my dad to the salon but after I picked my dress! Good luck with your choice!

I bought my dress at Kleinfelds too!!! I used Dianne and had an amazing experience.... bought a dress out of my budget range, but I was kind of loose about the whole thing to begin with so its all good.

To those ladies who are nervous about pricing... there ARE dresses there for under 2500, but the choices are not as much. It's a fun experience to have if you just want to go... and if you fall in love with something in the meantime.... PRICELESS!! (well, sort of hahahaha)
