My Fabulous Engagement Party!..With Pics!
Okay...typically I am the camera toter and have millions of pics. Due to the fact this is was MY engagement party..I really didn't get to take that many![]()
So when my FMIL and mom and whoever else sends me pics...I'll post them. So I honestly don't have that many...but here goes it.
First off...my engagement party was sooo much fun...and I enjoyed everybit of it!!!
He had about 70 close friends and family there. It was held at the restaurant we met at, owned by his aunt and uncle. The food was just out of this world. We had a champagne toast, then melon and prosciutt for antipast, followed by mixed green, rigatoni alla vodka(best ever!), and you could choose between stuffed flounder, prime rib, or chicken marsala. Desert was mini cannolis and engagement cake. People raved and raved and raved about the food!!!
The party was from 6:30, till about 11 ish. And I felt like it was 30 minutes long!!! It went by way too fast!!!!!!!!!!!! I had so much fun, and next thing you know it was over.
This is the best pic I have of me and FH from the e party. I'm sure someone got a more formal posed one.
I worked really hard on the centerpieces. I know someone got a pic of those too..but don't have them. This is the best I have. We had a napa valley and wine theme. I had grapvines and grapes strown on the table, with hurricane vases and matching candles. Got many compliments..this is the best pics I have of them.

This is me and my MOH!!!!
I asked her that night to be my MOH. I used the ever famous poem on vellum paper, atop a pic of us to ask her.
Our engagement cake. It said Auguri Nina and Peter, with a screenprinting of us on it. It was marble cake with raspberry filling...YUMMO!!(and of course grapevines around it!!!)
Me and my FSIL Rosanna...also a bridesmaid.
My Aunt Yvie and Uncle Andre, they own the restaurant and made sure my party was perfect!!!

Uncle Benny and Tia Diana(she was asked to be the Madrina of the wedding(she presents us with the 13 arras) and she accepted!
Someone thought I needed a champagne flute of a blow job...so this was the beginning of pure drunkenness(end of the night of course) And my fabulous FMIL is in the corner..she participated in these fab drinks as well!!

I just had soo much fun. I could've have gotten married right then and there. It went by soo fast. I loved it. People were so generous..and that room was filled with love and happiness.
