My Fair Wedding?

Awhile back I e-mailed My Fair Wedding to apply. They responded that they were only looking for brides with certain dates in March/April and asked if I'd be willing to move my date. I said no, but now they e-mailed me again saying they are looking for May/June brides and urging me to apply. I don't know if I should though. I'm a little wary of having my wedding ripped apart on tv.

What do you ladies think?

i would totally do it ... but that's because i don't really have a wedding 'vision' and would be ok with just about anything

if the wedding you're planning is your dream wedding, then i would not re-apply.

I think I'm gonna do it!!! Wish me luck ladies!!!

Personally, I could NEVER do it.....I'm way too much of a control freak, lol.

But if you can give up control and let others make the decisions, go for it!

That's the thing, it's not nearly my dream wedding. Don't get me wrong, I'm very happy with the way it's coming out, but I just didn't have the money to throw my dream wedding. And I'm thinking maybe they could give it to me! Ahh eff it, I think I'll do it.

I agree...I think you should do it. I would take momentary embarrasment for a DREAM wedding anyday! GO FOR IT!

i would be scared too but i say GO FOR IT!!!! can you honestly say that in the end of the show that any of the brides are unhappy?? uhhhh NO!!

Be careful.....I applied for this to and I was talking to the etc.. they wanted me to change my date- so i started researching/googling ppl that have been on the show and I found a LIW bride that was on there I wanna say AmandaandJeff- something like that & she said she hated it and him-- and after reading her review I told them to forget it

I think it would be good for the upgrade, but I'm not sure I would want him downplaying my ideas unless I really knew that I needed a lot of help.

Thank you! I definitely want to check out this review, but LIW is blocked at work. I need to access it from NYCity Weddings. I'm going to do a search for it in the Reviews.

This is what I'm concerned about- having my entire wedding belittled for everyone else's entertainment. I'd LOVE the upgrades though. I didn't think they'd even respond because I don't think that my wedding is in half as bad of shape as some of the brides on the show. Hmm this is something to think about.

They are happy because they got to marry the man of their dreams, not necessarily for what David did.

Good luck with your decision, but be ready for the outcome and comments from everyone. Not everyone is nice in this world, it's a tough pill to swallow.

And yes, my sister was the LIW bride who was on the show for her 8/8/08 wedding.
