That's good advice! One rule office politics is not to discuss religion or politics in the office...

and money.
though I honestly don't think the subject matter is the problem. People need to learn to respect differing opinions.
There's a peaceful politics thread on the newlywed board.

I have to say me and shamma and NYLisa, had a pretty good talk about religion yesterday, and i thought the teabagin thing was HYSTERICAL!!!
I think we should leave the politics to the newlywed board..
We should just keep this board fun!!! I LOVE NWR!!!

Re: My father always told me
I can respect anyone's opinion (pretty much) and I think if we all remember that just because you don't like someone's idea/theory that does not mean you do not like the person. When you make the stuff personal that is when the problems start.

Michelle, can the church say Amen. I think a lot of people do not know how to debate, you attack the point not the person. Keep the debates clean and stick to the topic at hand.

Re: My father always told me
You should also not talk to someone about how they raise their Children
I think it is bad advice...sorry T...but this is the pleasure of living in the society that we do...to express our ideas...our opinions and to reflect and adapt the ones we here...
otherwise I fear that we will be spoon fed information i.e. 1984...
religion, politics and sex are fine...as long as you don't bash someone else's view
