my fav RSVP...

'Hi this is cousin ...(my mom's cousin), I thought we all could make it but it's just going to be me at the party..'..that's funny because the invite was addressed to Mr. & Mrs. not & Family..W T F??..and she already invited her kids to the wedding when I first got engaged a year and a half ago like really??

omgg I got that too for the E-Party! one of the women I work with wants me to do seating arrangements so she doesn't have to sit near one of the others that she doesnt' get along with! I'm like no that looks rediculous it not a catering hall! I dont get people like leave your issues out of our functions..k thanks!

ugh, gotta love people who invite their entire families to an event that was addressed to MR & MRS only. I am going to hate when rsvp time comes around for my wedding. cause I have A LOT of children in my family, and I am having an adult only reception, so I know that is going to cause a fight. But I refuse to pay like 50 dollars a plate so their 3 year olds can come to the wedding and eat 2 chicken fingers.

Not to be mean or offensive but can't some of these people just suck it up and get a babysitter? Im gonna be honest I dont have kids right now but I wouldnt want to be chasing my kids around someones wedding.. Id rather be there and enjoy the reception..

Sorry, but i am positive that when i have kids i am not bringing them to weddings unless they are in the BP

ITA! I wouldnt want my kids to be running all over and me spending my night being stressed and yelling at them. Id much rather have a fun night out with my Hubby and enjoy ourselves!

we dealt with alot of that for our e-party..

we have to come up with much better wording for our wedding invites.

do we have to be clear on the STD's as well?

I'm worried about this as well, so I'm going to try to tackle this on 2 ends:

1. On the envelope: Mr. & Mrs.
2. On the RSVP card it will read:

M____________________
___ seats have been reserved in your honor (or something like that)
__ Accepts
__ Declines

You get what I mean. I would for the STD's just put the Mr. & Mrs. and get really detailed on the wedding invites.

We'll see if this works at all.
