Re: my fellow Sep. brides

I still have a long list of things to finish. But I am trying to cross one thing off my list per day. It is helping keep me from totally freaking out.

I have to:

*Order my favors (figure them out first)
*Type out table menus
*Need to get a necklace for the day
*Have to schedule an appt for a cleaning w/ the dentist

And that should do it.....

we are in pretty good shape, I started writing out placecards... my dress should be altered and ready next week (the seamstress screwed it up, it was too tight, couldnt breathe in it, thanks god it can be fixed but someone else is doing it for me )

hi all!

my final fitting is tonight. then the dress goes off to the dry cleaners.

finalizing the mass and music, programs will be ordered after finalization.

still have to finish up pew decorations---we're making them ourselves.

have to print out menus, placecards and table #s

have to buy groomsmen and bridal party their gifts. bridesmaid gifts are done.

have to write a small speech for the rehearsal dinner.

oot bags have been started, will finish up the week before the wedding when i'm in ny.

rehearsal dinner invites were sent out just a few days ago.

i guess i have to start packing up wedding stuff here in chicago, as i leave for ny on the 29th of this month.

this list seems way too short...

I didn't think about sending out RD invites? Should I have?

Still in shock that my shopping list (which I started back in January 2004) is nearly finished. I had every little thing on there and now just three items (perishable) for September.

Next week is a big week:
Monday - Meet with Hall for Cake and Menu
Tuesday - Second Fitting
Thursday - Meet with DJ to finalize
Friday - Marriage License , Finalize Honeymoon and Meet with Photographer.

Things are moving along well. I try to do a little something each night.

some people do it by word of mouth. i have a lot of oot's so i decided to just send out invites--- just printed the invite on store bought invitations.

we put 'regrets only' for rsvp so we don't have everyone calling...

I just don't think I can handle anymore RSVP cards or calls! Mine are do today and we are still missing a bunch on my FH's side. His mother is going to get on top of it starting tomorrow. I hate that they have to call.

I know the feeling. Anyone know what the weather is going to be like. I tried the farmers almanac but I couldn't figure it out.

Hi Date twin... I tried but it confused the heck out of me... there was some poem that was to be interpreted and I was lost.

Any words on what Sept is going to be like? Prob to far in advance.
