my FH gets cranky... ......everytime i mention something for the wedding that costs MONEY $$$ and you know thats pretty much the WHOLE wedding LOL
i told him i want to look for a place to reserve the Rehearsal Dinner so we can pay for it little by little, this way when it gets closer, its paid for....UGH. Men dont get it!
i know hes like that b/c WE are paying for everything ourselves, but he doesnt see the whole picture! HELLO, im paying practically 2 years in advance! it will be small payments a month! and i dont want to pick a place without his advice b/c then he will get pissed i picked a place he doesnt like....
whatever!
just had to vent...thanks girls!!! LOL....

My FH sets aside time slots to allow me to talk about wedding things. So, during one of those times I said 'I promise not to look/book until the new year as long as we go to see the DJ and discuss the important stuff and get everything booked between Jan-July. He agreed so... we looked at a DJ last month and we was all excited we did. Guys on one hand don't understand how much work/planning/sweat/tears goes into this. They just see the diminishing bank account. Just say you want to work on ONLY the important stuff and do the not so important stuff (aka.. things he doesn't need to get invovled with.). slightly behind his back...
I know... I'm bad!

I pretty much look things up on my own..then when Im ready to book appointments I ask him for a good day to go with me :) So far, this has been working for us! He looks at it this way, the further in advanced we do it, the lower price quote we will get (for this year) and the more payments we have making it less in the long run!

thanks Ladies! hes just VERY FRUGAL. LOL we want to buy a house next year, and we are in the process of looking to buy another car b/c we just had a baby and need an SUV for the car seat that takes up so much space LOL
I guess you can say we have alot on our hands, so that may be a reason why LOL but if i dont organize and plan things, we will have to pay later in a shorter amount of time!
i think i will take your advice and just do the shopping around on my own and when i find a good deal, go on an appt with him. I mean, hes not against going on appointments, but hes counting the dollars and cents LOL

Did you set aside a budget plan yet? We seem to discuss just being on track at this point. We both know how much we need to put in every week to reach our wedding goal. Then, he doesn't need to worry tooooo much because I plan out how much we can afford on everything. He seemed to ease up a little because he sees the total and it seems to be okay.

CRASHING We got to go to BRIDAL SHOWCASES... They give all of this info in there.... I wish i would have throw out ALL papers I got...... But we gonna go and u will see eveyrhtign :D
