Yesterday he sent me 3 dozen small colorful (pink, yellow, coral and a yellowy with orange tips) roses to my office because last year he sent flowers on Valentines Day and I didn't get them until 530pm, so I was all proud of him that he listened to me and didn't send on Vday itself.
Well the receptionist just calls and says I have flowers downstairs...i said 'you must have the wrong ext. b/c I got mine yesterday' she said 'no it's you' so I went down and it's a dozen long stem red roses and the card says 'there are some things that i just HAVE to do like these roses and marrying you' Awwwww he's so good...I love him.

that sounds more like me. I think I have some male genes in my body somewhere. My FH is super sweet, thoughtful and very romantic, me on the other hand, NOT at all. I bought him cologne b/c we agreed not to spend a lot of money and I wasn't even going to wrap it but felt bad so I brought it work this mornign to wrap.

exactly... he does so many great things for me. but being romantic is just not in his genes. He's totally clueless.

Thank you! It took me a little while to realize it, but I am pretty lucky. I did have to wait 40 years to meet him though.

That's exactly what I told my FH and he listened too! So now I had to tell him to get them for me the day after since they're not as expensive, let's see if he listens! Mine is SOOOO unromantic too, but I htink it's because we've been together for so long... he used to be good at it
