My FH is Killing me (updated)

Well my FH calls me and says 'you're gonna be mad - I got another dog'. He saw a boston terrier walking along the highway and picked him up and now he wants to keep him

Mind you we already have a dog and a cat. I am kinda upset that he didn;t discuss this with me first. If we keep this puppy we have to have him fixed, take him to the vet, buy him a crate (our other dog is crate trained) and hope he doesn't try to eat the cat.

Needless to say, these are not the kind of expenses we need 3 months before the wedding.....ugh

If I tell him to bring the puppy to a shelter, then I am the bad guy

men !!!!

Update: well I came home to the cutest boston terrier. I do not think he is a puppy (some of his teeth are rotten )

we are calling him freeway and he is a real cutie. We called animal control and left our name in case the owners are looking for him, if not we will keep him.

Well, first maybe the dog is lost, so you should post some ads and see if anyone claims him.
Boston terriers are small, I doubt he will eat the cat.

Ok, I think posting an add is a good idea, I guess it comes down to the fact that I do not want another dog right now. We talked about getting another one once we have a house with a fenced in yard. The house we are at now does not have a fence.

Awww - his heart was in the right place. I think it is sweet that your FH has a big enough heart to stop and save a lost puppy. Definitely put an ad up - it could be someone's lost puppy! Hopefully if he is someone's dog already, you can help him get home

I agree with the other ladies - seeing that it's a Boston Terrier - it's most like lost. Put up some signs in the area where he found it. That is so nice that he picked the dog up though - he's got a big heart for doing that!

I agree, he is a good guy and he LOVES animals....we will put up a sign and see what happens, if not, I guess we have a new addition to the ever growing pet family we have.
