He comes into the room and starts making faces and with his girly voice says,' Hey ladies, does anyone elses FH (and says FH not future husband!)complain that thier FW is on the computer helping brides and is obsessed with it?...Oh, FH says i'm on all the time!' And then he gave me a kiss and walked out of the room!

I did this to Maybride519 (Janine) when she walked into FH's store. . .
Luckily, she looked at me and knew who i was right away. . . and then we laughed and her DH and my FH made fun of us

Not true!! My FH doesn't care in the least how much time I spend on LIW. He's met quite a number of the ladies (and their FH/DH) that I'm friendly with. He is always saying what a great group of men & women we have met, how he loves the DIY stuff I've done as a result of suggestions etc.

I've come across a lot of people who just don't understand the allure of conversing with hundreds of Long Island brides on the internet. So to avoid the weird looks when I explain how I know so many brides, I just tell everyone that I have a friend who is getting married... etcetera etcetera...
I was talking to my sister about a catering hall the other day and said a friend just got married there recently and DH pipes up, 'Your friend? Tell her how you know your friend.' and so I had to tell my sister about LIW and explain yet again.
My sister turns to DH and says, 'Excuse me, YOU have no right to scoff at her online friends. If it wasn't for the internet, you wouldn't be married to my sister right now!' (DH and I met online)
HAH! I love my sister.

I don't think DH ever realized how addicted I was, then he came on one day to 'check something' and saw that I had over 13,000 posts!!!!!!
He was like 'does anybody else have that many?' to which I responded 'actually yes, beautyqueen Kathleen does!!' He said 'you're like the post master general'!!
He's met a few LIW brides and their DH/FH's and he's glad I've made good friends on here, some of them attended our wedding so I think he's accepted it. But he still calls it a cult!!
