let the fighting begin!! just kidding... they say that it causes fights.. which i believe to be stupid.. when me and my fh first started dating 2 months into the relationship we got matching tats (we were drunk) and for his 30th i got his initials... the artist said it is bad luck... which we did fight alot but now look we are engaged!

Us too. We were only going out for 2 months and got matching tattos too. I got 'his' and he got 'hers'
My dad has my moms name and they have been married for 34 years.

That's funny no we played it safe with Chinese symbol for love... We laugh we said if we were to break up we would just say to people it means strength and faith!

That is so funny. I always thought that every chinese tattoo said 'What did you get this for? You can't read chinese!'
The only name I would ever tattoo on my body is that of my child (when I have one). I am too superstitious. Truth be told, I am not supposed to have them anyway, but I have 4.

I got my fh name in a kanji symbol on my hip. Everyone told me it's bad luck, but I dont believe in that. we have been together for 8 years, I dont think a tattoo is going to break us up.

yea i have 2 chinese symbols.. they probably dont even say what there suppose to.. who knows

I know people who take their chinese designs to the closest chinese food restaurants to make sure they dont have something stupid tattooed on themselves for all eternity.
