My FH saw me in my dress!!!!

I took my dress out of the storage box and tried it on yesterday (FH wasn't home at the time). I wanted to see how it held up, whether it got yellow, etc. I tried it on (it needs to be taken in a bit! YAYYY!) and I fell in love with the dress all over again. This dress is from a canceled wedding 7 years ago. I paid alot for it and put it storage because I knew I'd wear it someday.

Anyways -- as I'm in the dress, admiring it, my FH walks in (I didn't even hear him come in). He freaked out because he thinks we are 'jinxed' now. I didn't want him to see it, but I'm not sure what to do.

I have an appt. to look at dresses Wed. night, but my heart is with the dress I have. I guess my question is, what would YOU do?????

I'd keep the dress! Dont worry about it. He'll forget what it looks like and with all of the makeup and ahir and glitz and nerves on your wedding day it'll be a whole new vision to him. Bad luck is totally fake. My cousin was married in 2003 and she did a lot of thinks that were really unorthodox, like she took her pics before the ceremony, so obviously the groom saw her before. Someone said something about it and her mom said 'there are so many couples who do everything the 'right' way and it doens't work out, so it doesn't mean anything' I thought that was a great point.

it sounds like you love your dress, just put it away and don't let FH see it again. if you're really concerned, maybe there's some beading or something you can add to it to change the look of it and so it'll be new to Fh's eyes and you can think of it as a 'different' dress.

I hate to say it but honestly, do you really really think a man knows the difference between wedding dresses? I doubt it.
ETA: Wear what makes you feel beautiful-->he will be looking at you not your dress!

I tried shopping with mom and girlfriends, but from my FH I got the most honest opinions. He is my best friend on this earth.
