So I went to pick up my shoes from Davids Bridal yesterday after being dyed and there was two light spots of black dirt or newsprint on one shoe on the toe and the other shoe had another dye color on the side near the arch. I admit that I overreacted a little bit, BUT, I was starving & didn't eat all day, got very little sleep and have been worrying about my dad b/c he's in the hospital again. My FI went to wait in the car and I ever so nicely and calmly asked what could be done about the dirt and dye on my shoes. They are now dying a new pair of shoes for me at no extra cost!

Mine first called me bridezilla when I found out (thankfully early enough) that they wrote down the wrong color for my boK. I flipped. Welcome to the club!!!!!

He claims that I was not very nice and that the dirt is small enough that no one will notice and that the shoes will be dirty within 2 hours of wearing them. I think it's the sheer principle that they should have done it right the first time, plus I didn't pay for dirty shoes!!!!!

He has watched several with me prior this the shoe incident and he can't believe the psychotic brides and fiances--I guess I should remind of the show and some of the brides!!!!!!

Seriously, FH doesn't call me bridezilla (my mother does, and that drives me crazy), but he will say things like, 'I really think you're overreacting' or 'I think you need to calm down.' But then I'll tell my MOH about the situation and she totally agrees with me! It's a guy thing, they don't get it.
