So i tried to make a memory candle today, this isn't the picture that is going to be used but I don't have one scanned of FH father so I just used what was in my computer to test it out...what do you think honestly? I can't tell if it is cheesy or not.

I love this idea...my FH's dad died when he was 12, and I'd love to incorporate him into the day somehow...is this the same candle you use for the unity candle?? or is it a different one...explain please, I am clueless!

It is different than your unity candle. You simply have them set on a table somewhere at your rh. FH & I are placing memory candles for our dads on the table with the place cards. That way everyone is sure to see them and remember them.

I just bought a clear piece of vellum and a regular candle from AC Moore and printed it out cut it down and used double sided tape, i bought 2 different kinds of ribbon and just taped them on, i was really floored at how easy it actually was, I used Word as well. I do like it I might play around a little more with it, make it a little darker. I want to do one for our grandparents as well.
