My first dress fitting is tomorrow~! Update with pics!)

My first dress fitting is finally here~! Tomorrow i will be going in to see my dress again! What usually happens at the FIRST fitting? I hope i don't forget to bring everything! Ahh~! I'm so excited and nervous at the same time! Gosh...i'm so weird!

***Update***
I'm Back~! It was so nice to see my dress again! It was a quick process. Into the dress i went, seamtress took pins and pinned my hem, did my bustle, took many pics, and i was done. As for alterations...I just need a hem, bustle and cups sewed in. Oh...and i think i found THE VEIL~! Here are pics. Don't mind the weird face expressions!


Is the length ok? I don't want it to be too long where i'm gonna trip but then again i don't want it to be too short...

Take: shoes, bra, slip, camera. I didn't take my tiara, veil, or doj because I wanted to wait until the last fitting when it all came together. They will have you put the dress on, look at it and fix any problems address any of your questions problems, talk about bustle, and show you and whoever goes with you how to put the dress on right for the day Good luck and just emjoy....my mom went with me and after we went out to a nice lunch and just relaxed

And the veil. It's a scallop-cut with pencil serge lining with flower motif rhinestones. It's very simple which is what i need because i have so much detailing on the bodice of my dres. (Excuse the face expressions!)




Oh...and one more question! I wasn't originally planning to wear a necklace because my bodice has 'alot going on' so i thought it was going to be 'too much'. But today after i put my dress on with no necklace my neck looks too bare. My sister and I don't know if i should wear a necklace or not. Any suggestions/comments??

FIrst of all, you look absolutely STUNNING in your dress! I have always LOVED that dress!!!

Secondly, I think that veil looks very nice with your dress. You don't want anything that has a lot going on because of your amazaing bodice!!

With the necklace, I say not to wear one. I think a beauitful pair of earrings and bracelet will be perfect, BUT if you feel more comfortable, then wear one. You don't want to look back at your pictures with regrets!

You look absolutely beautiful, love that dress. I think maybe you could wear a simple necklace, nothing too flashy. Earrings and a nice bracelet might be all you will need. But once you get your earrings try a necklace on and see how it looks. Let us know.

STUNNING!!!! You look amazing!! The veil is perfect for that dress. I say if you want to wear a necklace go for it but I would keep it simple.

This is hysterical because I also had my first fitting today at RK - I'm the bride in the 3rd pic! You look lovely!

Gorgeous! You look fabulous in your dress!! I don't think you need anything around your beautiful delicate neck, but if you must- I say only do something very small. So lovely!!
