My First Fitting

Ok to make a long story short I had my first fitting today at Lillette's and all went pretty well- It was so nice to actually SEE my very own gown.. I almost forgot what it looked like.
I really feeling like the wedding is so close and real now... I also love my gown!! I am going to knock FH's socks off!

It needs very little alterations- just about an inch hem and some taking in and of course a bustle. I am also having them velcro my blusher to the veil so I can take the blusher off after the ceremony and still wear my veil.

I go for my 2nd fitting next week Tuesday (Feb 12th) - same time 5:30pm

One of the funny things that happened is that coming out of the dressing room there was another bride that had the same gown as me (minus the 3/4 sleeves) it was so funny and we laughed at each other- she was getting married two weeks after me.

I have to apologize for not having pics- I only have my cell phone camera atm and that is not so great.. also I took FH's friends wife with me and she really didn't know how to work it .

I was so happy though!

I swear I'll try I was so upset they didn't come out

My real camera is in storage atm- I am going to have to get it out for this

that is so exciting i would have went hysterical too if i walk out the fitting room to see someone wearing the same gown as me- only goes to show you that you have a beautiful gown


yea next time you better have those pics ready only kidding

Yay! What a great feeling to put on your dress again and know its the one! I hope I feel that way too!

I swear on my life I got a better camera for next time (I told FH I need to get that camera out of our storage unit!) or I am going to 'borrow' the digital camera from work just so I can get pics!!! I looked at the ones FH's friends wife took and you can't see anything!!

I just thought about it and was like 'Crap!! these pics are gonna stink. What am I gonna show the crew from LIW!!'

Yes it was so funny seeing someone that had the same gown- we both looked good in it though- the odd thing was though we also were getting the same thing alteration-wise done as well- hers was a bit big in the chest area too and also a bit too long in length.

I feel like I am on cloud nine atm
