I had my first fitting today with Josephine!! Love her!! She's such a sweetheart!! I bought it in January of 2006 -- so I was a little ahead of the game and at one point I was really second guessing my decision from looking at other brides dresses. But I fell in all over again!!
It was absolutely perfect!! Just a little snug on top -- since I had unfortunately gained a little weight after coming off a long-term migraine medication when I had hopes to lose like 20 pounds and it never happened. But she's not going to touch the top till my next fitting on September 4th. I need to live on the treadmill and eat only salads It'll be worth it!!
For the bustle she did a french bustle kinda and made it look like it had pick-ups in the back with the sashes then bustled over the train.
Your dress is beautiful.. I love how the top comes up like that

Ev~ thanks for recommending her!! She was so sweet and great to work with!! She was so patient with me -- as I was so indecisive when trying the different bustles on the sashes. And I also tried the earrings I ordered there and ones I bought at Nordstroms along with debating the headpiece and hair up or hair down. Guess it was just me being a typical bride She was great!!

As I was leaving my fitting I was looking around to see if I saw you and I thought I did but was 100% ---didn't you just love Josephine -- she's so sweet and patient

My wedding isn't until the 26th of October, so I actually don't have to go until the 2nd of October. We went so early thing time because I was SUPER concerned about the veil not matching.
Anyway, I cannot tell you how GORGEOUS your dress looks on you! It really is stunning.

Thanks!! your so sweet!! Do you have pictures from today too?? Post them!! Can't wait to see how your fitting went!! I tried to wait as long as possible to go for my fitting -- and waiting till the next one too -- need to get my butt to the gym and run. The bodice was real snug on the dress but Josephine is going to wait till my next fitting before changing it.
