and its from my fh's cousin. she is not speaking to her cousin, my fmil, and decided not to attend due to the present circumstances. i appreciate that she wrote a note, but i'm still very annoyed. her son is in the bridal party.
fh and i both knew she was a 'no' but still we thought maybe...

i had a few of those...i was upset at first too but realized i'm still gonna have an awesome time even if it's only me and FH in the room! so screw 'em all and bring on the big day!!!!!

Ya know, 'no' responses suprise me. I always attend every wedding I am invited to, even if I have to travel because I think they are so much fun and it is so generous of the couple to invite me. I understand if you have a really important engagement or traveling is totally out of the question due to cost, but come on you dont have to bring a gift and you should suck it up for the couple.

i agree. she is just making herself look stupid. i know her son will be upset she is not there at least for him. but whatever, its stupid family drama.
