My first rsvp drama...

We are doing no kids...invited a husband and wife.

Got an RSVP back for 4.

HELLO??? IT SAYS MR. and MRS.! NOT FAMILY!

FH's mom is on it. Thank god she is on our side:)

Ugh so tacky and rude!! What makes people assume just bc they have kids they can bring them to people's weddings. Did they want kids at their weddings?? Most likely not!

one was FHs friends was invited with his girlfriend - we clearly spelled her name out on the invite. his response said chris +1
We called him and told him its not just a +1 - its your gf or no one!!!

what goes through peoples heads?!?!

OMG we are dealing with this too now. Invited Mr. & Mrs. Mr couldnt come so they responded Mrs plus her 3 kids!!!!

I am putting'adult Reception' on the response cards. Hopefully they will get it.

This is why our RSVPs say: We have reserved ___ seat/s in your honor. I fill in the # and, hopefully, we avoid this issue.

this is why I filled out the amount of seats for each card. I knew I would run into problems like this. some of my guests would've invited their brother's friend's sister's cousin if I left it up to them lol

good thing your FMIL is taken care of it

Sorry! The only weird one we got was my friend who is bringing her mom as her plus one. I was annoyed but just sent hr mom her own invite to make myself feel better about it... haha!
