My first vent

Last week I posted that I had received the earrings I ordered for the wedding, I was so excited, love them. But my mom hates them and she has been searching online everyday to find me a new pair, knowing how much I love them. Well yesterday she tells me she ordered me earrings from kohl’s. Seriously!!! I also told her I didn’t want to wear a necklace because I didn’t want it to take away from my dress and she says I have to, so she’s been searching for a necklace also.

Ok sorry vent over!

I hate when moms insist!!!!!!!!!

Let her order them so she feels that she gave it a try, try them on and tell them that you like yours better and that is what you willl be wearing.

Have you seen the earrings from kohl's? Are they nice at least/do you like them?

Tell her 'thanks for buying me such beautiful jewelry to wear to my shower/RD/bach party/sitting on the couch and eating ice cream!!!!!!'

That's what I'd do.

Or ask her 'did you get a gift receipt with this?'

Another thing I'd do.

My mom and I are super close so she wouldn't do this to me, BUT if she did that's how I'd handle it.

Yeah I mean chances are she's trying to do the best thing for you... but nothing thinking.

Who knows, if you haven't seen them yet... maybe she'll get you something AWESOME.

But if you don't want them... say... 'Mom, this is what I want. This is what I'm doing. I'd love to wear this to... shower...rehearsal dinner...etc.'
