My flower search continues!

Re: My flower search continues!

the colors of the first three work great, I think the calla lily throws off the sunflower/gerber daisy in terms of the way the flower looks.....does that make sense....

the larkspur is beautiful, not sure if it's too bright for the fall colors...

The bigger flowers might over power thr callas. I know, you really need to find a burgendy though. . .

I am having a burgendy hydrangea in my bouquet. tis a little hard to find though. Sometimes it looks more. purple. I think the shape of that though, would go with the daises & sunflowers.

I am also havign hypercium berries for a little burgendy in my BM bouquets & cps. that may work for you as well.

Or what if you tie them in burgendy ribbon. Will that tie in the burgendy enough?

I think they are georgous...i love the more 'wild flower' look..That's how we're going too...only my bo-k will have peachy and white roses with accents of color and my BMs will have the wild flowers.

I will say though, If you need another burgandy , the hydranga suggeston is a good one, and you can mix silk in. My florist, who is a freekin' genius, is mixing to ensure the right color. I have a green hydranga with a tint of burgandy in it...if we left it to nature, this would be almost impossible to predict in coloring. Also, they'll hold up better, and if they are good quality, they will not look any different than the real flowers mixed in.
