Today in the mail I got the wedding cake topper that I wanted to get from my FMIL. She just sent it 'just because she knew I loved it.' I totally had planned on buying it myself. When we were talking the other day she said that she had seen it and she wondered what if I liked it. Well today it arrived. Its Cinderella and her Prince by Lenox. I am speechless!!!!
that's so nice---my FMIL is the same way, she's just so loving!! AREN'T WE LUCKY??!??!?!?!?!! btw-I love the cake topper, I want to do a fairytale themed wedding!

I also have a great FMIL. I don't see her often (which is why she may be great - she lives in Israel) but when I do she always brings me things. She calls me to wish my luck on things and tells me how happy she is I am marrying her son. We are the lucky few

That was sooooooooo sweet!!! I have seen that cake topper and I LOVE it too! I am also lucky to have such a wonderful fmil....she is constantly doing/saying nice things....i have heard so many mil horror stories, it is just so good to know I won't have any!!! (unless she suddenly turns on me after the wedding!!! )

Yay, an I-LOVE-my-FMIL thread. I was beginning to think I was the only person with no MIL complaints. I can tell from spending time with my in-laws that my husband is so wonderful because of where he came from.

That is a beautiful cake topper.
Well I too have an awesome FMIL I Love her. She is down in Florida for the winter and I get a package atleast once a week with a gift. She is always thinking of me which I love- She is a big shopper of QVC,HSN and she knows just what i like.
I am so glad that there are others out there that truely Love their FMIL!!!!

How funny after reading this thread, I have to agree with several of you. Mine is in FL and she gives me cheesy things too but its better than her being a horrible MIL!
