MY FMIL IS THE BEST!!! - Favors CHECK!

so my FMIL calls me to say she saw something in the fortunoff mailer and i should stop by to see it so she can explain more. So we stop by and she shows me these

she said she was thinking we could use them for 2 things...we could use them to jazz up the tables around the cp's AND we could add ribbons to them and at the end of the night they could serve as favors. I like them and was at a loss for what to get for favors so I was relieved that she came up with this great idea and found a classy item. well as soon as i said i liked them she got right on the phone and ordered 40 sets!!! we should have them before wednesday!

she bought my favors!!!! omg...I knew I was lucky to be marrying FH...but to finally have this closeness with FMIL just touches me so much. She's so cute...you had to hear her talking to the Fortunoff cust. service rep...telling him/her all about me and my wedding and how beautiful I was going to look and how regal my dress is. lol, we had a long bumpy road to get to this so I get emotional to see the difference in our relationship now.

ETA: it comes in a set of 5 so we're splitting the sets so each of our guests gets 1. we might not make 200 exactly so we may even have extras.

awwww.. i just didnt see it til then, im sure thats the same reason for everyone else's delayed replies too, dont worry, theyre beautiful! and i would love to get one as a favor

and good for you that you two now have a closer relationship!

but would you mind maybe FMing if you want and let me know how much htey are?? I really love them and it would go great with my red/gold christmas theme. I am trying so hard to think of centerpieces including candles...those candles would look awesome!!

lol! no brothers. lol the Fortunoff rep was like 'oh so ur her mother' and she says 'oh, no I'm the mother of the groom' and apparently the rep said something about being amazed at what a nice FMIL she was and she thought all FMIL's were monsters so FMIL says 'no there are some of us nice ones out there. my FMIL wore white to my wedding and she's 90 now god bless her soul. i love her to death but to this day i never had the nerve to tell her that it bothered me back then.'
