My FMIL offered to...

...knit/crochet the yarmulkes for the men in my bridal party. It isnt very many and won't take her long because she is talented and has done it before. I thought it was a lovely and meaningful gesture. Now all I have to do is pick a color and she can get started! Things are starting to fall into place.

I agree. Fortunately, the temple we will choose offers suede yarmulkes as part of the package and those will be for the rest of the guests. As talented as my FMIL might be, I don't think she would want to crochet 100+ more yarmulkes for the rest of the male guests. If she wants to, more power to her.

That's great! Brad's mom did the same thing for the men in our bridal party, and we had suede ones for the rest of the guests.

Apparently she made them for FSIL's Bat Mitzvah for every male guest and some people stole them. I guess she is that good! I have seen her work on sweaters and it is good. I am thinking BABY BLANKET when the time comes - or am I ahead of myself?
