my friend is coming from the UK to take me out to dinner

anyway she's coming w her dad today! They're staying in NJ.

I told them I'd meet them in Manhattan and we'd eat somewhere very NY. she said she had been there the day before and didn't see anything they liked.

um....you didn't see anything you liked in Manhattan?
