I really wanted to use the Butter by Nadia dress. It's so easy, requires no alterations and fits everyone from a size 2-16. The dress is awesome! I even had to try it on. However, my one bridesmaid has really big boobs and the dress is so low cut that they are really popping. I don't want her to spend so much money and then have to close it with a safety pin. I told her that I'm the bride and I'm scheduling her for a reduction.
Oh well....back to the drawing board.
So, I'm obsessed with looking now at simple dresses. What do you think of this?
You tell her! Can she tie it a different way to make it a little less va va va voom?

Re: My girls tried on the dress I wanted....
The only other way is strapless and then it makes the front really short and she hates her legs.

Re: My girls tried on the dress I wanted....
Can they add a modesty panel??? They could put a stay stitch to tighten it...A minimizer bra...Tighten the straps...
Look, this is coming from a girl who had DDDD boobs...I had to deal with that ALL THE TIME and it was miserable. There's lots of tricks that can help. Don't give up just yet. Getting a reduction was hands down the best thing I ever did. Period. I cried when I tried on my first wedding dress because there was no way I could have ever fit into it if i didn't have the reduction.

The problem is that it' a dress that you buy off the rack. I don't think there is anything that can be added. I wish I could get fabric or something to add a modesty panel. That would be awesome. This is the dress but I would want the signature satin:

Take it to any good seamstress and they should be able to do it.

First off that model made me dizzy That is a great dress, and I can see the problem. What about adding a thin nude camisole underneath? You know, that dress is really pretty but also simple, so I bet you can find something very similar...I probably have even seen some dresses like that. I'll look around for you.

Re: My girls tried on the dress I wanted....
thanks! Yeah, I want it really simple and was hoping that it would be something that people can wear again (I know everyone says that and it never happens).
I e-mailed the woman from the website I was originally dealing with for that dress to ask if there was any possibility of getting additional fabric to add a modesty panel or anything. I'll see what she suggests.

Plus, it's from Nordstroms and only costs $168. Isn't that awesome?

I e-mailed one of my cousins to see what she thinks. God, shopping for bridesmaid dresses is a lot harder than finding my gown.
