i go on the 18th.....i wonder if i should be extra good the week before....does that matter?

My doctor told me to lay off sugar the day before. If you have GD, a positive will be positive regardless of your eating habits, but if you DON'T have it, you could get a false positive from what you eat/drink.
Did that make sense??
