My Grandma is now in a Coma! **Updated**

It's a good sign that she is responding even a little bit. She can still hear you. Please encourage everyone who goes to visit her to talk to her in a positive way. Most people in comas can still hear and those who have come out tell stories about what they heard people saying when they thought the patient couldn't hear them.

I believe your grandma can definitely hear you, and as someone noted, although easier said than done - your life is still going on your FH and you are planning a very sacred and beautiful event that is around the corner. I'm praying for her full recovery, but regardless of what happens, you will both be surrounded by love and life. Keep talking to her.

My FH's grandma died Aug. 13th (Fri. the 13th, no less.) All from complications originating from a broken hip after a fall the day after Thanksgiving just last yr. We're getting married Thanksgiving weekend and can't believe she is gone. Her physical presence will be missed that weekend but I know that she will be with us. I pray that you will get to dance with your grandma. God bless.

I just found out something amazing that happened today. My Grandma opened her eyes and was staring at the ceiling. No one knew what she was looking at. Then she had the biggest smile on her face and said 'Joe' and then went back into her 'sleep' My Grandpa passed away 3 years ago and that was his name. I like to think that he is there saying come on you have a wedding to go to next Friday
