My grandmas dress

I have told a bunch of you that I'd post a pic of my grandmas dress with her in it and then here is me in it with the updates so far.

ETA: you will have to excuse the pins in the front as the lace hasn't been added yet.

Thanks!! I think it will be all done next time I go to the dress lady-which is mid-february.

Thanks ladies! Im very excited! My mom and I were talking about if it will be emotional for my grandpa cus my grandma passed away about 4 years ago. He is happy Im wearing it, but I hope it isn't hard for him too.

Everyone says Im a spitting image of her! I dont know if you can tell in these pics, but people think Im a clone of her! Hahaha.

You definitely look so much like her! You're so lucky that you not only have the dress, but it's in good conditions, and fits you. My grandma got married during WWII while my grandpa was on leave, so she had to plan quickly and she actually rented the dress.

Awww..I think it's awesome that you are getting to wear her dress. He may be emotional but it will be a good emotional...Such a honor, really for both of you. She was beautiful and you will be as well. She'll be proud watching over you.
