A few days ago I posted a question about mixing gold colors because my mother gave me my grandmother's necklace and my father wants me to wear it, BUT the necklace is yellow gold and my e-ring and wedding band are platinum and white gold and my headpiece is silver tone.
Anyway, someone asked me to post pictures...so here they are (oviously these are of the pendant only- I still need to find the right chain)
It sparkles so much in person...the pictures look so dull...

that's beautiful!!! and so nice to have something so meanigful...you know that you can get it dipped in white gold to change the color if you want it to match everything else...just an idea

Hey that someone was me lol Ok I think totally wear it. It's not the noticeable that it's gold. Wear it on a white gold chain and it will look amazing

What a beautiful pendant. Wear it as it is ! It doesn't matter if your ring is white and the necklace is yellow gold.

What about having your florist attach it to a ribbon or something and add it to your bouquet wrap? Use it as a pendent for your bouquet. It's a special touch, but won't interfere with all of your plat/silver/white gold jewelry.

Don't worry about mixing tones - no one will notice... and if they do - they've got too much time on their hands, picking out things like that... It's your grandmother's piece, wear it with pride and love and as a way of making her a part of your day...

That is so beautiful. It looks so modern too. I love it. Try getting a white gold chain. The little gold around the diamonds wont clash with anything.

Beautiful! The diamonds pick up the silver tones, so I think you are ok. Loved the ideas for the ribbon or the white gold chain though.
