My guest list....

Keeps growing!!!

My minimum for the RH is 175. Maximum is 200

I have a guest list of 219

I have a B list of 31

Do you think I will make my minimum / maximum ????

I mean maximum i am not worried about I do not have to invite B list, so to speak, but I have more than I thought,,, with out Kids and my vendors!!

do you have a lot of OOTers? inviting 219 with a max of 200--that's cutting it close! i mean i know they say 20% won't come, but sometiems you never know! plus the 200 max--that's with putting the max # of ppl at each table? you don't want it to be super crowded and uncomfortable.

is there a way to turn that b list into a c list and cutting 19 ppl off the main list and making THAT yoru b list? so with each 'no' you can send out that excess 19?

I get VERY worried when I think about my guest list I get nauseous

what if most of them come?? they do say 20% but u seriously NEVER know.... if mostly everyone decides to go you can uninvite someone....

I put down a minimum of 150 for the RH, but I think i'll have somewhere between 200 - 220...hopefully not more than 250!!

I think you'll make your min/max numbers if you factor in some people won't come.

woahhhh thats a HUGE gust list for a RH with a 150 min!
what if alot of them bring dates??? what will you do??

it looks that we are sending out 250 but we did our min. for 200.

for a 200 min and 219... its cutting it very close

i have 20 total OOTers. I think you may be on track with cutting some of of 'A' and moving them to 'B' or a 'C'. I am including about 25 '& Guest' on the 219 'A' list-

Yes ny guest list keeps rising! Iam up to 240. My mom said i better cut it out LOL!!!

IS there anyone you invited with a guest that doesn't have a SO?

Maybe you can invite them without a guest? I have friends that I probably won't invite with a guest due to the number of invited guests, but if I have room as it gets closer I'll probably let them know. Any close friends that would understand if you did something like that?

Send your invites early and make your response date on the early side as well. This way if you get a lot of 'NO's' back you still have time to invite some from the B list without that akwardness of like ummm...you weren't on my initial list but here's your invite

I have to agree. I think this is your best bet. When they say a room holds 200 it ususally is a tight squeeze. Also 20% is aiming high you should keep it more around 10-15%.

My single friends don't normally bring guests unless they're in some sort of a serious relationship; I'm inviting them with guests just in case all of them meet someone soon, but I highly doubt that will happen. Also, 3 couples we're inviting have 2-4 kids each, and I doubt they'll bring the kids (that's what Greek gandmothers are for!). Plus, a couple of OOT friends have said they'll make it, but you never know what may happen to their plans in about a year.

If everyone decides to come, then I will welcome them...if they want to honor me and FH with their presence I won't turn them away. Yes, it'll be a bit expensive, but most of the people on the guest list have been waiting for this day for a VERY long time.
