my hair trial

I had my trial on saturday and it was terrible. She didn't even do anything to my hair. She put the crown on my head and then twirled some hair around. It was more like a trial for her to see how to do my hair, rather than a trial fo mr to see how SHE does hair. It seemed like she has never done a updo before. I went to Gizay Michaels where I usually go, and this stylist was reccommended as doing great updos. I even had to pay $100 for it. I am so mad.
Does anyone have any reccomendations for me? Jennifer from fairytale, and taralei are both booked on my day. Please help, I only have 6 weeks until the wedding.

i would go to milton at cactus in huntington..i just love him and he's going to do everything for me..i used to go to gizay until the girl i went to freaked out because she had to blow my hair out on a friday night and she wanted to leave..

Thanks. I get that kind of reaction a lot when I am there. Like they don't have time for me. I don't think I am going there again.

Any other suggestions? I want to book at least 2 more trials.

I plan to use Lind Palladino, she did a couple of girls on the Knot (I started out on their message boards - but I'm fully converted to LIWeddings now!!!). ANyway, she'll come to your house and her fees are pretty reasonable. Her number is 5168829007.

Try Mya from Cosmetic Artistry -- she knows how to do hair. That's absurd btw, for a hair trial -- price and what she did, or rather, DIDN'T do.

I would really reccomend you contacting Sarah Rock if you want her info let me know...shes done a few of my friends and will do my wedding as well....she happens to work with a makeup artist also if you need one

Not that it really matters, but did you complain? You should demand a free trial where they actually DO something to your hair!
