My hard boiled eggs are chirpping!!

I'm making hard boiled eggs, and as soon as I put the water in the pot, I heard chirpping!!

I called DH right away and he assured me 'no babe, there's not a bird in there, it's probably just air' (as I'm sure he was on the other end of the phone!)

Did YOUR hard boiled eggs ever chirp???

OMG, this totally reminds me of the day I stopped eating chicken! I was in Israel with DH and we went to this amazing restaurant out in the country, on a farm. They have lots of cows, sheep, and of course, chickens. So we go inside and I order, what else? The chicken. It comes out and it looks like roadkill. No joke. It was one of those rotisserie chickens and they cut it in half and flattened it so it looked like a car had driven over one of these rotisserie chickens! I was upset to begin with, but I decide to take a stab at it... I take my fork and knife and just as I start to cut the poor little roadkill, I hear a rooster in the background start crying its heart out. I started BAWLING in the restaurant, and kept saying, it's the rooster's baby, I can't eat it!! Never touched chicken again
