I can't believe this happened to me last night... I am in the middle of cleaning out my cache file last night and my hard drive DIED!!! I have no computer!! I have to wait for them to send out a new hard drive and then install it.
I AM SO LOST!!!

I am so lost with out this damn thing! I know it's so superficial, but it's just the most frustrating thing ever!! I've lost all my pictures and everything!! I'm over at my parents using their's, but mine's d-e-a-d.
So many pictures gone. Not a good day for me. And no one seems to know what went wrong. The computer is only 2 years old! I don't understand why this happened.
Customer support/phone techs really are no help either.

That doesn't make sense to me.... I am no means a computer expert, but maybe you just erased one too many things. You should call Micro Center on Merrick Ave by Eishenhower Park. Their tech service is outstanding.

the same thing just happened to me less than a month ago. i am now sending all my files to an email address i know i will always have like yahoo, rather than saving them on my hard drive. i try not to think about what i lost and that makes it somewhat better.

This has happened to me with 3 different computers - lost everything 3 times! That s--ks! I'm so sorry. After my 3 tragedies, I switched to a Mac and back up everything on DVD every now. Losing photos and music is always so hard!!!!

Another thing that helps...Don't use Internet Explorer as your main browser!!! I've had more than one IT guy tell me this!!
Use Opera or Mozilla Firefox. Less buggy and less likely to get hackers trying to get in!!
Also having spyware and adware killers and your anti-virus up to date helps!!
I had one computer get fried just from opening an email from someone I knew!!! No attachment, just an email!! My motherboard was shot!! So I feel your pain!!
