Our company holiday party is tonight at espace! I was on the party committee so have been pretty busy with planning recently...we are expecting 750 and we pray it isn't much more because otherwise it'll be too packed and we'll run out of food!
Planning for this party has been like wedding planning but we had a bigger budget for this event than any wedding of mine would ever have!

I'm sure everything will be great! And you know what - even if you reach a little glitch along the way, no one will know aside from those of you in the planning committee. Trust me on that - the show always goes on!
Have an awesome time!!!

Re: Holiday Party -- update!
Hi guys! Thanks for all your well wishes on Friday! The holiday party was a huge success and I think everyone had an amazing time! I spend about 5 hours taking the Crate & Barrel labels off the candles and setting them up on Friday (we decided it was cheaper than purchasing through the florist)--it was actually really hard work!
Here is a link to my album---I tried taking pictures of the floral arrangements---the florist, Monica, had some really creative ideas and I thought some people might be interested for their weddings. Here is a link to the album:
Here are the vendors we used: Espace---venue (same company that owns Capitale) Monica Hirsch--florist Taylor Creative--table rentals Blackbird Inc--lighting and sound Scott Benowicz--DJ

Congrats! You must have been so proud with the finished result. What field of work are you in? I work at an advertising agency, and our party was in the open space at our office!

OH MY....THAT would have been a funny party especially b/c my firm is mostly CPAs and attorneys---we are a large consulting firm and we specialize in bankruptcy, litigation, and economic consulting.
