My homemade veil is almost done!!!

I'm so excited! Just got back from my aunts house. She's making my veil. I'd been having some veil anxiety because when I purchased my dress I fell in love with the mantilla style veils, but they were at minimum $200 and I could not imagine spending that much on a veil...especially since I'm not even sure if I'll be wearing it past the ceremony. I also worried that it wouldn't be the way I wanted it and I'd be scrambling last minute to buy a veil off the rack.

Anyway...I sent her some tulle and lace and she did it!!! Well almost. She made a fake one out of some spare tulle she had and she pinned my lace to it. Now that I tried on the fake one, she can cut into my tulle and sew the lace and beading on. It's soooooo nice. My aunt made my prom dress many moons ago , so I was confident in her ability...Idk why I was so worried!!!


I'll have pics when I pick it up at the end of the week. Saturday I have my final fitting too so I can try it all on together. My aunt is sooo dope!!!!!
