my honeymoon review
We went to Maui for 6 nights and Oahu (Waikiki) for 2 nights. We had to cut one day off the end b/c we were snowed in and couldn't leave on time.
Anyway, we stayed at the Hyatts on both islands. The Hyatt in Maui is great. Loved the pool and beach there. Also the room was really nice. We got upgraded to an ocean view room and it overlooked the entire back of the hotel (which was the pool, tons of gorgeous landscaping and the ocean). The restaurants in the hotel were good too. With our package we had a terriffic free brunch every morning.
The Hyatt in Waikiki was also nice, but very different. Because Waikiki is a big city the hotel wasn't on as much land. The pool was small. We didn't think there was that much to do in Waikiki. We went to Pearl Harbor and the USS Missouri on the first day and to the Honolulu Zoo on the second. The zoo wasn't good. We also checked our email a lot!
Maui was paradise. We ate at great restaurants (Nick's Fishmarket and Mama's Fish House), did the road to Hana which was the best day we had, woke up at 3:15 a.m. and drove to the top of Mt. Haleakala to see the sunrise, went to Warren and Annabelle's magic show which was totally awesome, and went to the Feast at Lele, which we didn't think was worth the money.
It stinks to be back in NY with this freezing cold weather. I'm nice and tan and it's fading
Here's the link to our Honeymoon album on ofoto. i still haven't figured out how to make it a link (someone please do it for me!)

Our honeymoon was great. We will definitely go to Maui again in our lives. We probably wouldn't go back to Honolulu, though.
