My honeymoon review
Hi everyone-DH hooked up the laptop so I can post a little now in between unpacking and settling in-I feel so overwhelmed but am happy to finally be in my own home
Anyway, my Aruba review...finally.
Aruba was amazing. We stayed at the Wyndham and we're upgraded to a Junior Suite which had a full ocean view and 2 balconies. We ate at soo many good restauraunts-El Gaucho's had the best steak DH and I ever tasted. We also ate at a really good Indian food place (Taj Mahal) and an Aruban place (Gasparito's)-we like different types of food.
We did the Kukkoo Kunnukko (sp??) drunk bus which was a blast! We had met two other honeymooning couples the night before so we all went together. We were all so drunk by the end of the night we were dancing on the bus, singing, having a great time.
We also did horseback riding on the beach, parasailing (which I didn't like-I was scared as s*it up there), and jet skiing. I actually had an accident on the jet ski (not my fault). I was riding behind DH and all of a sudden we saw a jet ski coming towards us, well, they couldn't stop and they ended up crashing into the side of our jetski, hit my arm, and cracked the whole side of the jetski. We went to shore to check out my arm-it was all cut up, bleeding and swollen but I was a trooper and got back on since we paid for a half hour and still had 15 minutes left
Casinos...well let's just say I haven't quit my job so no big winnings-did pretty good at blackjack one night but that's about it.
Hit a hell of a lot of turbulence on the way home (flying right along Isabel) which made me almost sick to my stomach but we made it home safe and sound.
That's the end---if ya made it htis far

Re: My honeymoon review
Sounds great! We're going to Aruba too but we're staying at the Hyatt. Everyone seems to recommend that El Gaucho's and the kukkoo bus trip thing. I love hearing positive reviews! I can't wait!

Re: My honeymoon review
Glad you had a good time in Aruba. I been there but about 10 years ago. I am sure some things have really changed. I don't remember the restaurants and the Kukko Kanukko but it sounds really cool! Sorry you got hurt though.
