My interview next week is at 3 WFC

I used to work there. I always loved working there because of the view of the WTC and the area.

I was moved to wall street which i didnt mind but my heart was always in the tower (american express' headquarters - we called it the tower)

When 9/11 happened i was running late and was suppose to be picking something up at the tower but because of my lateness I saw everything that happened and went right to my office on Wall Street.

I havent been in 3 WFC since September 2001 and I am so nervous. I've been to the area, just not the building itself.

My interview is next thursday at 4pm. I am confident about the interview nervous about returning to the building.

You'll be fine!! Smiling reduces nervousness, btw... don't even concern yourself with the location... you'll just clog your head with worries you don't need to be thinking about!

Chippatrid - I work in 2WFC!!!!!! We just moved back to the building in May. My office faces the WTC site, so I still find it hard to be there. Luckily most days I am out at clients.

OMG! I got back at 12:30 and everyone has been emailing me and calling me so I havent a chance to post.

It went great. I am really positive about it. The atmosphere is definatly laid back (no official dress code, casual, laid back) and the HR lady was so nice.

She gave me a little feedback about my responses. Nothing bad, just the wow you definatly handled that situation in a very professional manor, good for you, etc...

she said she was going to go to the group and talk to the group about having me considered for round 2.

Melissa, Karen, we are neighbors! I am at 3 WFC I don't work for AMEX, though, I am an outside consultant.

Good luck with your interviews. If I can give any moral support about coming to the building, let me know. I am often afraid down here...but will do my best to make sure you aren't!!
