Re: my invitation quote..is this too high?
It depends on the style of the design... If it's really elaborate then that's a good quote. If it's really plain and really just a flat card then that's very high... What does it look like?

so like $700? IMO that seems a little high for 100 invites, but if you have the money in your budget and you love the invite then you should do it

It seems pretty good, but it looks like the licensing issues is what's screwing you. Ouch.

I agree with Future Mrs. M... Mine are $800 but it's all raised ink... all personalized...with tons of added things...but that's ALSO with a employee discount since it's from FHs job! LOL

Re: my invitation quote..is this too high?
$700 might be considered a good price or a bad price depending on what the invitation looks like, can you show us a pic?
Is the print raised, is it heavy cardstock?

oki know i will sound like a idiot but i do know nothing about invitayions so i will desribe to the best of my ability....the paper is heavy and shimmery almost looking metallic..it has our names on front written in script with the hidden mickey and a bow around it that u must take off to look in....u open it up and there is the invitation...i know this prob makes no sense so maybe later on i will try to take a pic of it and post...thanks girls

Take a picture and post! I think that would be a good idea. I'm spending more than I thought I would on invitations...almost $900 for about 150 of them.

Re: my invitation quote..is this too high?
what kind of printing is it? Is it a flat invite or pocket fold or what? It depends on a couple of factors, what kind of paper is it shimmery or plain thin or heavy???

Wowza, I can't believe the hidden Mickey adds so much to the price but I think that's an adorable idea! I am all about the Hidden Mickeys while in Disney!

The price seems to be on the higher side but I don't think it is outrageously expensive either. If it is within your budget and you really like the invites I say go for it!

Re: my invitation quote..is this too high?
I ordered 250 invites with lining on the envelopes and with reception and response cards for about 520. I got 20% of the price and that was the final price. They are very elegant but very plain so that might be why the price is what it is.

Re: my invitation quote..is this too high?
Before the hidden Mickey's that comes to about $7 an invite. I think that is very reasonable for decent invitations. Paper is expensive.
