my invitations. . .

FH and I spent the other night 'painting' out invitations.

There's sort of a long story behind them -- basically my aunt is a printer so she did the type on them and gave us all the envelopes and stuff as a present, but I had my heart set on a certain style I found on einvite.com.

So we are hand painting each (luckily its a small wedding). The paper isn't working out as well with watercolor as I hoped, but I love the idea of hand painting my invites.

This is still in the test phase, but I'm pretty happy with 'em. What do you think?

I think that is a WONDERFUL idea - and they look really pretty too!!

Now you know for sure that NO ONE has the same invitation as you do

Don't worry about the minor imperfections - adds to the charm, the handmade beauty of it.

Thanks sooo much!! The perfectionist in me was going a little crazy about them. But they really do make me happy -- all the little personal touches matter!

Jenna,

they look amazing - I think they look better than the ones on einvite.com - the color on yours is more vivid and I personally prefer the multiple flowers on yours, rather than the one on einvite.

You and Sam are so talented!!
