Hey girls. I finally am getting around to posting some pictures of my invitations before they go out on Saturday!!!!

They are from Party City and probably alittle plainer than you are used to but I am happy with the way they came out and wanted to share!

Calligraphy is by the wonderful Wendy Trout!

Yes that other crap was awful....but I just didnt know any better and that is why I posted in on LIW! I am so glad I you ladies helped me and that I went with Wendy!

Awesome! I love both styles....Wendy is talented. I wasn't going to use a calligrapher but I might have to change my mind.

I was dead against the whole paying for calligraphy thing....but I caved and am so happy about it!!!!

It was the first one we looked at and just loved it. Ofcourse I went back and looked thru 40 books of invitations but still went with our first pick! (Also this is an area we wanted to save money on and I am glad we went with simple yet nice. No one looks at the damn things anyway! Well except freaks like us! I do have to say that I have noticed when people's invitation are made of cheap or light cardstock. But thats it.)

Here is a dumb question, why the inner? What do you do, mail it to her and then she sends it back to you? Thanks

Some ppl order invites that have an inner envelope, if so then that is used to list those invited...for example if you invite somebody single you can write JUST Mr. Tom smith on the outside then inner envelope write mr. Tom smith and guest...or if you invite a family you can write just the parents name on the outside and use the inner to list all the family members invited in that household, usually the kids.

Yes, i mailed her my cardstock and when she was done she mailed it back to me
