My Invitations went out today!

I am so excited! I didn't think it was going to be this exciting! A few people in the post office asked if I was mailing wedding invites and offered well wishes...they were so sweet. I hand canceled them, hehe! Here is what they look like (sorry the photo is not too great).

Deep red is my theme too! My bouquet, the centerpieces, the BM dresses, invites, etc.! I got the invities custom designed through Gaddis Design. Melissa was wonderful to work with. I highly recommend her! I wish I had a better photo to share.

Yes I used the love stamps. I liked them, they went with with my invites. The inner envelope had the 37cent and the outer had the 60 cent (they differ slightly in color). I can see how they wouldn't go too nicely with other invitations though.

Sasha, how many direction cards did you use? I see three. Did your reception hall have them already or did you have them made up? Just curious, they look so neat!

thanks for the info Julianne - I think that's also where SonicStef got her invites- sooo nice!
I sent away for her catalog but no sample - did you get one before your ordered? How long did they take?

Those invites are gorgeous! Congrats on sending them out. I am an april bride too, and I dont even have my invites addressed yet! Yikes! Anyway let us know how the responses go.

Thanks everyone! I put in 3 direction cards actually. One to the church, one from the reception hall to the church (b/c you should take back streets to get from one to the other and the reception hall's card gives parkways), and the one to the reception hall. This way people have direction if they do or do not go to the church. I had my FH design them and do the maps (he's a web developer and designer). They look great!

I got a sample from Gaddis before I ordered. I just emailed Melissa and she sent it out. I think it took her a few days to get back to me at first about the sample. During the order process and redesigns she got back to me in less than a day. Her work is more beautiful in person than online. It has such nice quality too.

Christy, good luck in getting yours done. I was so happy to have them finished. Now I'm excited to get responses!
